Face Wall consists of three connected walls of varying heights and lengths, each with a modernistic image of a human face. Mysterious and funny at the same time, the faces are inspired by the work of Italian artist Bruno Munari. Munari work often played with the representation elements of everyday life in a humorous way. The angled placement of the walls help to change the separate understanding and experience of each face. The faces encourage children’s curiosity about perceptions as well as a level of physical challenge as they climb on, around and over the sculpture.
